As Vice President & Managing Director, Commercial Origination, Antoine Tronquoy is focused on the expansion and scope of services offered to our clients in the province of Quebec. Antoine oversees various types of financing including term, construction, bridge, and mezzanine financing. Mr. Tronquoy brings over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, with in-depth knowledge of financial management and capital markets.

Mr. Tronquoy began his career at a leading international investment bank in Paris and London. Prior to joining CMLS in 2022, Mr. Tronquoy held key leadership positions at prominent Canadian REIT’s, most recently serving as CFO. He holds a Master of Science in Business from HEC Paris.

Charles-André Roy

Charles-André Roy

Vice President, Real Estate Finance | Mortgage Broker

Charles-André works in the commercial brokerage and lending division in Quebec. Mr. Roy is responsible for conducting real estate debt and equity transactions. His expertise ranges from all asset classes and all financings such as conventional, CMHC insured loans, mezzanine, equity raises and others. Prior to joining CMLS in 2019, Charles-André worked as an associate in the Debt & Structured Finance division at a prominent international capital markets firm in Montreal. He was responsible for conducting real estate debt & equity capital raising, representing institutional and high net worth private clients. Mr. Roy has worked on over $3Bin real estate financing through construction, acquisitions, refinancing, equity, and other related deals. In addition, Charles-André conducted over $500 Million in real estate investment sales transactions.

Charles-André holds a Bachelor of Commerce, major in Finance from John Molson School of Business (Concordia). He is also Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) as well as a registered mortgage broker with AMF.

As member of CMLS Capital Montreal, Charles-Benoit is responsible in strategic lending and structuring initiatives for debt and equity capital raises throughout the Province of Quebec, having had the opportunity to represent institutions, public and private REITs and HNW in over $1.5 billion of Real Estate structured finance strategies through conventional, high-yield and CMHC-insured financial products - via brokerage and internal funding capabilities.

Prior to joining CMLS, Charles-Benoit was a member of an international Brokerage firm’s Multiresidential Investment Sales division, with involvement in the underwriting and due diligence of complex dispositions of single assets and portfolios of direct real estate in the province of Quebec - contributing to the closing of over $900 million in transactional volume. Previous responsibilities included Buy-Side in the Oil & Gas and Financial sectors for a large cap Canadian equity value fund.

Charles-Benoit holds a Bachelor of Commerce, major in Finance from John Molson School of Business (Concordia University), is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Exempt Market Dealer (EMD) and is a dually licensed Commercial Real Estate Broker with OACIQ and registered Mortgage Broker with the AMF.

Serge Leduc

Serge Leduc

Serge Leduc focuses on all types of commercial real estate products, including office, retail, industrial, hotels, senior housing and multi-residential. He works with private portfolio owners as well as corporate and institutional clients. Mr. Leduc has 38 years of experience in the real estate industry.

Prior to joining CMLS in 2011, M. Leduc held a number of key roles, including partner with a leading Quebec real estate appraisal firm, Director of Acquisitions for one of Canada’s largest pension fund managers, and Senior Director of Commercial Financing for a Canadian chartered bank. He was a professional appraiser for 25 years and is a registered mortgage broker with AMF. M. Leduc holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in real estate business from the University of Québec in Montréal.

Julien Sindeu, CFA, FRM, AFM

Assistant Vice President | Real Estate Finance

As a member of the commercial advisory and lending team, Julien provides support for real estate debt and equity transactions. His expertise ranges from financial modeling to risk management with an emphasis in financial analysis.

Prior to joining CMLS in 2021, Julien was a Senior member of the Capital Markets team for a Schedule 1 bank in Canada where he was responsible for securitizing mortgages into agency MBS as well as managing inventory through sales and short-term borrowing using Money market products. He also managed the bank's warehouse facilities and performed hedge transactions.

Julien holds a bachelor degree in Finance and Quantitative Methods from HEC Montreal, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Advanced Financial Modeler (AFM)
