Kindred Foundation's vision is to boldly advance cures, treatments, and supports for children and adults experiencing health and life challenges. Through a number of upcoming initiatives in 2022 and beyond, CMLS Financial and Kindred Foundation are committed to working together to effectively match philanthropy with community needs through collaboration and partnership.

We have participated and pedaled in The Ride To Conquer Cancer for several years. We also make a corporate donation to support this worthy cause.

On April 23rd an attack in Toronto left 10 dead, 15 injured and a city in shock. The #TorontoStrong Fund will benefit those affected by this

Atira is a non-profit organization committed to ending violence against women by providing direct service and educational programs. We donate furniture and clothing to support the incredible efforts of this group.

The Lions Society raises much-needed funds to help hundreds of kids with disabilities and Easter Seals Families across B.C. The money raised goes to help Easter Seals Services, which includes Easter Seals Camps for children with disabilities and Easter Seals Houses. We raised funds for this charity for the first time in 2012.

This Canadian Bar Association (CBA) fundraiser raises money through sponsorships and by selling tickets to the event. Proceeds from this event went to the CBA in B.C., which provides assistance to lawyers and articled students who have suffered an illness or injury. This event is supported by a corporate donation and ticket purchases to attend the event.

Covenant House provides a crisis centre for Vancouver street youth. Our staff has donated both cash and clothing from their fundraising drives, and we also make a corporate contribution.

Motionball is a not-for-profit organization that builds awareness and raises funds for the Special Olympics Canada Foundation (SOCF). We made a corporate donation.

Our offices across Canada compete against each other to see who can raise the most funds. Our staff also supports Movember by attending several community events. The company makes a corporate donation to this worthy cause and a number of employees take part by growing their Mo’s.

A member of our Ottawa team was the 2013 Chair of the Ottawa Motorcycle Ride For Dad, the world's largest motorcycle parade organized in support of prostate cancer research and awareness. This event takes place on the last weekend in May or the first weekend in June. A recent addition to our charity event schedule, we look forward to raising money company-wide and making corporate donations towards this very worthy cause.

We offered a dinner as part of the Ronald McDonald House Home for Dinner program. The food was purchased by the company and prepared by our Toronto office staff. This was a fun event and participating was an amazing experience – almost all of our staff was on hand to prepare and serve the food!

We proudly made a donation in support of the Ten Mile Music Production LP. The proceeds support needy students in fine arts programs across Canada.

For over 30 years, Tomchei Shabbos of Toronto has provided food every week for the city's less fortunate residents. The charity delivers hand-packed boxes of Shabbos food essentials to over 150 families within the Greater Toronto Area. With the donations, Tomchei Shabbos helps ensure that Shabbos will be a joyous day for families in the community in need.

We donate funds annually to the Union Gospel Mission’s general program, and also sponsor individual families in need each Christmas.

In the past, we have sponsored children through Watoto Child Care Ministries in Uganda. This initiative is employee-generated and supported. The charity is changing and will now be sponsoring a village. We will continue to support Watoto with an annual donation.
