Mortgage Servicing
CMLS Financial is also a leading provider of mortgage servicing for the commercial real estate finance industry in Canada. We are retained by commercial mortgage lenders to administer mortgages.
Among other things, lenders look to us to collect payments on their behalf and to monitor the status of the property taxes and insurance on the property. We also hold escrow funds, such as funds held for payment of future property taxes or repairs on behalf of the borrower.
