CMLS is also the only dedicated commercial servicing agent in Canada with a rating from Dominion Bond Rating Service (DBRS). The rating process involves a comprehensive review of the company's organizational structure, management team, asset administration, technology, staff and training, policies and procedures and financial strength. Our portfolio of commercial mortgages under administration currently exceeds $4 billion. Our lender clients include some of Canada’s largest pension funds, life insurance companies, credit unions, conduit lenders and other financial institutions.

We provide mortgage servicing, special servicing, selected services and corporate administration to institutional lenders. We are also a leading provider of CMHC insured and conventional commercial mortgages and one of the largest mortgage servicing agents in Canada.

CMLS has a wholly owned subsidiary, Penmor Mortgage Capital Corporation, that provides mortgage financing to real estate investors and developers.
